This particular piece has a very memorable story behind it for Cameron. During his time in Canada, he spent a week in Lillooet, BC (the first ever jade mine was located in this small town). He was rockhounding by the rivers, just beginning to learn about the properties of jade. He would often come across serpentine, suspecting it was jade and being informed by the local jade carver that this is a common mistake. Serpentine is quite tough, quite green, and quite heavy...but not quite there yet.

Serpentine still has some beautiful properties with its gorgeous patterns and pastel greens.

This pendant also comes with a corded necklace that was hand braided by Cameron.
